Set up a double boiler

Fill a saucepan with a few inches of water and place it over medium heat. Place a heat-safe bowl on top of the saucepan, ensuring it fits snugly without touching the water.

Add the gummy candies to the bowl

Pour the gummy candies into the heat-safe bowl.

Melt the gummy candies

Allow the candies to melt slowly, stirring occasionally with a heat-resistant spatula or spoon. Be patient as the candies melt, ensuring they fully dissolve into a smooth liquid consistency.

Add the candy flavoring

I use hard candy flavoring here when making my edibles for really fun and unique flavor combinations. Just add it in and stir it in a bit then:

Add the cannabis oil

Add the cannabis concentrate oil to the melted gummy mixture. Stir well until the oil is fully incorporated.

Add the emulsifier

After you have stirred in the oil a little, add the emulsifier

Blend for Homogeniuty

Blending up the mixture will be very important for consistency in dosing and also flavor. I recommend getting a heavy-duty immersion blender and stirring it for at least 3 minutes with that. Otherwise, stir for a very long time 10 -15 minutes vigorously.

Pour the mixture into molds

Carefully pour the mixture into the gummy molds of your choice. 

Allow the gummies to set

Place the molds or tray in a bread rack let the gummies cool and set completely. This process usually takes around 3 to 4 hours, but it may vary depending on the size and thickness of the gummies and the temperature of the room they are in.

Remove the gummies from the molds

Once fully set, gently remove the gummies from the molds.

Store and enjoy

Place the cannabis-infused gummies in child-safe bags and mark them as a marijuana product. Remember to label them clearly but don’t state any definitive MG amount unless you get them tested at a testing facility.
