Ingredients
- 1/2 cup RSO (Rick Simpson Oil)
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup honey or agave nectar
- One envelope of unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 tsp sunflower lecithin (optional, helps bind ingredients)
- Gummy molds
Instructions
- In a saucepan, gently melt the coconut oil over low heat. Remove from heat and whisk in the RSO until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, add the cold water and sprinkle the gelatin over the top. Allow to bloom for 5 minutes.
- Add the honey/agave and lecithin (if using) to the RSO/coconut oil mixture and whisk well.
- Microwave the bloomed gelatin for 20-30 seconds until liquid. Quickly whisk it into the RSO mixture until fully incorporated.
- Pour the gummy mixture into your mold tray/s. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until fully set.
- Once firm, pop the gummies out of the molds. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
- Adjust honey/agave to the desired sweetness level.
- Layer flavors by using different juices or purees instead of water when blooming gelatin.
- You can coat gummies in corn starch or citric acid powder if desired.
