Delta-8 THC edibles are now REGULATED in Michigan
When it comes to weed cannoisseurs, they get really creative! Some kick ass canna-scientist found a way to pull out a different molecule from cannabis that is similar to the THC we know and love, but technically isn’t. If you have heard of Delta 8 THC, this is the cannabinoid I am talking about.
For a few years, this molecule flew under the radar in terms of legality but now that is coming to an end. Effective October 11th 2021, Michigan has put a stop on Delta 8 unless the producer has a full blown cannabis license.

What are Delta 8 Edibles?
Delta-8 THC edibles are a fairly new class of cannabis product. As all edibles, they provide an opportunity for people who cannot smoke or vape to still get the benefits of cannabis. Delta-8 is a non-psychoactive compound, which means it does not produce any psychoactive effects. Even though there are reports of feeling almost the same at Delta 9 THC when you eat it. But those Delta 9 effects (anxiety, paranoia) are less.

The effects of delta-8 THC edibles generally last for about 3 hours
People who are new to cannabis may want to consider dosing themselves with delta-8 THC edibles. Delta-8 is the least potent form of THC, so people can experience all of the effects without feeling overwhelmed by them.
